The most amazing band with a number of the greatest musicians, Edward Sharpe and The magnetic Zeros; this band was first created in 2005 and it consists of 18 members! From their slow rise to their global recognition it hasn't been a smooth ride. Alex Elbert, finished his 12 step program to over come his drug addiction and than started on his character "Edward Sharpe" in this process of creating his character he met Jade Castrinos, who would end up being his co musician for the next 5 years.
One of their greatest songs created was
40 day dream, which consisted of 10 musicians playing at the same, Which consisted of two keyboard players varies guitarist, one drummer , 2 singers and even a ukulele.
Another a song from them is "
home" which was written in 2009 and winging them 15th place in the Triple J top 100 in 2009.
Overall this band has had to include 18 members into its songs; which is different to usual four piece band that is normal, in this makes it our choice for todays blog choice!
