After months of not posting , I have accumulated information that will provide all of you with clothing of the indie kind. The various shops and websites I have been to have lead me to find new ways of dressing and also new styles that I would not normally go for.
To start things off, the first website I went to was - Urban Outfitters, their range of clothing goes from casual t-shirt and shorts to button up shirt and chinos this look is perfect for anybody who wants a casual look but still likes to look good.
The second shop I found was topman, their stores are all over the world but the do have a site, their clothing is the best range of indie fashion, from amazing button up shirts to classy jeans.
And the third and final store is ASOS their range of clothing is quite interesting and cheap, they have a great range of shirts and shorts.
All in all any of these websites would be good if you were wanting to break into indie fashion

Bowie , Bowie and more Bowie
Im back ladies and gentlemen
But todays topic isn't about any indie band, its about a controversial man... Thats right ladies and gentlemen
David Robert Jones or in others words the man "David Bowie"
He was born on January 8th 1947 and grew up in Brixton London. His most controversial period was when he made his character "Ziggy Stardust" which he adopted during the 70s.
Some of his best songs are space oddity , Under pressure and best of all Starman!
Comment about your opinion on bowie or comment what songs you like by him as well!

Records , Records and More Records
The humble turntable / phonograph made in 1857 but was corrected by Thomas Edison in 1877, This device is still used in today's society but is not used how it should be. The way the turntable is used today is in clubs wheres the DJ's plays terrible song's on them and then "rip" them the records up to make cool beats but how we should all be using them is playing the classic old rock.
Records can be bought in old shops and there are even places that just sell records, the sound quality that comes out from these record players are amazing and you can even get some LP's that are better than the sound quality you get from MP3's
So guys go check out your local record store and start playing the old rock style, even today some indie bands their music on vinyl so go check them out as well!

Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros
The most amazing band with a number of the greatest musicians, Edward Sharpe and The magnetic Zeros; this band was first created in 2005 and it consists of 18 members! From their slow rise to their global recognition it hasn't been a smooth ride. Alex Elbert, finished his 12 step program to over come his drug addiction and than started on his character "Edward Sharpe" in this process of creating his character he met Jade Castrinos, who would end up being his co musician for the next 5 years.
One of their greatest songs created was 40 day dream, which consisted of 10 musicians playing at the same, Which consisted of two keyboard players varies guitarist, one drummer , 2 singers and even a ukulele.
Another a song from them is "home" which was written in 2009 and winging them 15th place in the Triple J top 100 in 2009.
Overall this band has had to include 18 members into its songs; which is different to usual four piece band that is normal, in this makes it our choice for todays blog choice!

Indie Clothing
With the ways of indie music taking a storm into the world of music, their is a whole new style coming into course, and that style can be classified as indie clothing. In todays blog i'll be giving you guys some tips on where to buy "indie" clothing for buyers who want to pay cheap or for buyers who want to spend a little more.
We'll start off with the easiest and cheapest, which is "OP shops". They have really cheap clothes and accessories that have the old fashion look to them, which is what makes it todays fashion or the "New Black"
Secondly has got to be www.phixclothing.com, There range of t-shirts is amazing and there range of indie jackets that are like Angus's from Angus and Julia stones consisted of pages and pages of different types. They also have great accessories for any person.
One of my Favourite stores has got to be "Urban Outfitters," their range in clothing reaches far and wide and there based all over the world. They are cheap and there style can fit anyone who is trying to get a new fashion look or the olden day style that fits in with todays society

There style revolves around its indie audience and in this is a good place to buy if you want to pay a little more than the usual cheap indie clothes.

Great Indie Musicians
From last year there has been and up incoming rise to the music industry, and the leaders of this are the indie musicians/bands. From this we start with the people who led this rise:
Little red; they formed in 2005 and set of with Triple J radio station. one of there hit songs we're coca cola which was their first big hit but was blown away by their song Rock that was realised 2010, wining them 2nd place in triple J's top 100
Hungry Kids of hungary ; their slow rise to fame started in 2007 during that period they played songs that were not known by the public on triple J which got them a tour in 2008. In 2009 they brought out their hit song let you down which was a big within the indie cohort but was still not recognised by the mainstream audience that controls music in todays society. But in 2010 they brought out their song coming around, which was not only played on Triple J home of indie music of today but was played on all radio stations within the Queensland, Victoria and even NSW cohort.
For the final music band of this post we have spun it from Australian musicians to an American band:
Voxtrot: Though the band is gone now, they created the first era of indie music in Texas, Their hit song was "the start of something" From this it led to their success which led them to tour all over america, and in their last tour they announced that they would be breaking up.
Well thats all for now guys , enjoy the new songs you'll be adding to your ipod and remember come back every day because another post about music will be up!

Indie Music of Today
From the music we listen to today, we realise how TERRIBLE it actually is, from the new R&B singers. But for this terrible act on music there must be a saviour and as we all know that saviour is the Indie Musicians.

In this they are bringing back the original Music with actual instruments and real singing that isn't auto tuned to the max.
